Hello, I am a mental health professional with over 10 years experience. I completed my doctorate in Mental Health counselling and have extensive experience working with children, youths, and adults. I have experience supporting individuals with a variety of issues such as ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression,Body Dysmorphia, Addiction, Low Self-Esteem, Emotional Dysregulation, Behavioral Issues,  Grief/Loss, Stress/Burnout, Adjustment/Life transitions, and difficulties with Relationships/Assertiveness/Coping skills. I have significant experience supporting neurodivergent individuals/families, and I’m an ADHD-certified clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

I take pride in providing individualized and high-quality mental health services in a safe, nurturing nonjudgmental space so together we work to create a pathway to break the patterns that keep you stuck and make sense of the well-meaningful patterns to help people develop effective coping skills, alleviate your symptoms, and improve your quality of life and overall wellbeing.

I am culturally sensitive and Neurodiversity affirming therapist who draws upon client’s strength to reinforce personal resources and build resiliency. I work within evidence-based eclectic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  I work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and develop individualized treatment plans as I believe everyone is unique and deserves to be heard, respected, and understood.

I am also an adjunct professor. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, travelling, listening to music and figuring out what it means to “relax.”

Looking forward to meeting you and learning about you and how I can support.
